About Me

My name is Janna Mordan Osborne

I am married to Jeremy Osborne. He is a writer and has been blogging much longer than I have.

I work as an Admin at a biotech startup in the Silicon Valley.

I like to sing jazz and a cappella.

I cook. My husband likes to eat what I cook. Unless it has wheat in it. Then I usually bring it to the office to fatten up my coworkers. I like to cook with organic, local, and whole foods wherever possible, and I’m always looking for new ways to prepare the vegetables we get every week from our local CSA, Two Small Farms.

If you try any of my recipes, or if you just have something to say, please comment! It’s always a great feeling when I find out that there are real people out there reading what I write.

The picture of a coffee cup in the header is by Julius Schorzman. I found it at the Wikimedia Commons. The subtle pattern in the blue was free from Squidfingers. I edited the header and a few of my other photos using the Gimp, a really great piece of open source software similar to Adobe Photoshop, only free.

Except where otherwise noted, the pictures are taken by me, with a Fujifilm Finepix F50SE. It’s a fantastic, easy to use little point and shoot. One day I may upgrade to a digital SLR with interchangeable lenses, but for now, this is a great camera without breaking the bank.

If you’d like to contact me directly, I can be reached at jannamordan at yahoo dot com.
